Clearing Chrome Browser Cache

Issue

Browser pages are not loading correctly or behaving in other ways than expected.

Solution

Clearing the cache in the web browser you're using ensures that an entirely fresh version of a website is being loaded.  This is an important troubleshooting step for determining website issues and may fix issues itself.

Here are the steps to clear the Chrome browser cache:

  1. Open Chrome as usual (Windows Start menu, Task Bar or Desktop shortcut, Mac Dock)
  2. In the upper right, click the three vertical dots to open the menu
  3. Click "Delete browsing data..." near the middle of the menu
  4. Change the  "Time range" drop down menu to "All time"
  5. Ensure all of the check boxes are checked
  6. Click the "Delete data" button

The browser cache has been cleared.  You will need to re-login to websites you were previously logged into.
